Sean Smith

Sean Smith is the Director of Strategic Sourcing for Agropur Ingredients, a dairy ingredients manufacturing business unit of Agropur, a $4B Canadian dairy cooperative. He is responsible for all procurement, contracting and supplier management for Agropur Ingredients, as well as dairy ingredients procurement for the Canadian Cheese business unit. Sean also sits on the ERP Council for an implementation of Oracle, as a Business Process Owner for Procurement modules. Prior to joining Agropur Ingredients Sean was a Supply Chain Manager with Adventist Health System, responsible for the Contracting and Sourcing modules of a PeopleSoft implementation. From 2010 to 2012, Sean was a Strategic Sourcing Manager for Facilities at Citigroup. Previous to Citigroup Sean was a Supply Chain Manager in the United States Army. Sean has a Bachelor in Finance from University of Maryland and an MBA with a Supply Chain Management specialization from the University of South Florida.

What communication changes will be needed to coexist with the stakeholders?
What types of relationship skills do you need to build or change without getting bogged down in the minutia?
